Friday 18th January - Quiz night
Come along to our quiz night where locals and guests will be battling it out in the general knowledge quiz for fantastic prizes, get studying!!
Friday 25th January - Burns Night
Come and stay at the Holly Tree Hotel to celebrate the life of Scotland’s famous poet Robert Burns. On the night of the 25th there will be a traditional dinner with a Scottish themed menu including Haggis. The night will also include a whisky toast and Traditional Scottish Entertainment from Jimmy Forsyth and Mike Hall.
On Saturday the 26th you can relax in the Captain’s bar and maybe read over some of the famous poet’s works.

Friday 8th February - Jazz weekend
Come and join us for a night of pure sophistication with a jazz musician playing through the evening. The dinner will have a seafood theme featuring many local delicacies such as squat lobsters, razor clams and much more, however there will be something for everyone.

Thursday 14th February - Valentines night

This special weekend will combine wines of the world with specially prepared gourmet food prepared by our master chef. The sommelier will take you through the wines as the courses are served.

Friday 29th February - Murder Mystery
Arrive at the Holly Tree and join us for a night of mystery and intrigue. Experienced actors will host the night and provide all props. They focus on guests having fun and guide everyone through the night.
The actors specialise in fun two-handed murder mysteries where all the characters - men & women, goodies & baddies, victims & villains - are played by actors in a series of mysteries all featuring outrageous characters and tongue in cheek but fully solvable plots.

Sunday 2nd March - Mothers Day Lunch
Mothers day lunch will be served in the amazing new Captain’s bar. The high quality food and scenery will make this a special day to remember.

Friday 7th March - Whisky Tasting Weekend
Why not come and stay at The Holly Tree and sample some wonderful local whiskies. Scottish themed meal followed by whisky tasting in the Captain’s bar. Our bar man will guide you through of a variety of traditional Scottish whiskies including various malts and other mature whiskies.
There will then be a traditional ceilidh where you can dance away into the evening!!
